His first steps in hospitality began at 19 when he founded a rooftop bar at his university, which helped finance his studies and grow to employ 35 staff members. This experience ignited his passion for the industry. In 2019, he opened the hotel Haus im Tal, followed by the acquisition of The Flushing Meadows Hotel in 2021. From 2021 to 2023, he served as VP of Operations for the private equity fund Limestone Capital, opening six hotels across four countries and managing over 200 employees. In early 2024, he founded KOKOMO Capital, an owner-operator holding focused on purchasing, renovating, and operating hotels in urban European centers. KOKOMO Capital recently made its first acquisition with a hotel in the center of Rome. With a passion for creating meaningful guest experiences and fostering a positive work culture, his focus remains on building environments where teams feel motivated, valued, and engaged. He emphasizes employee retention, believing that a happy team is the foundation of exceptional hospitality.
