Dr. Caroline von Kretschmann is the managing partner of the Europäischer Hof in Heidelberg. She has been leading the 5-star hotel since 2013, representing the 4th generation of family ownership. After completing a banking apprenticeship at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt, she studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen, where she also earned her doctorate. Before joining the family business, she worked as a strategy and organizational consultant for 15 years, 10 of which she spent running her own consultancy. Upon joining the family business in 2010, she also co-founded DUE CONSULTANTS with Melanie Frowein, a consultancy specializing in systemic consulting, coaching, and succession planning for family businesses. In addition to numerous honorary positions, she serves as Vice President of the association DIE FAMILIENUNTERNEHMER.
