Through a conversation with the owner of the cafe, Saša Milić , I found out that behind the successful decoration project is the cooperation with Union Drvo Adria from Zagreb and Union Drvo from Serbia, sister companies of one of the leading regional brands for furnishing interiors and exteriors of catering establishments . Not only did the equip the space of his new cafe with high-quality wooden furniture from their range, but the Union Drva project team also helped him in designing the final look of each selected product, down to the smallest detail.

"We decided on Union Drvo, after seeing some of the buildings they worked on in Belgrade and visiting their showroom in the Family Mall in Zagreb . According to their previous works and performances, they seemed to us to be the most serious and professional contractors in this branch. Based on our conceptual solution, they made technical drawings, after which production began. We even went to Belgrade to agree on the selection of colors and materials with their designers. Everything you see was brought in by five trucks, and Union Drvo installed it in four days. We are extremely satisfied with the cooperation. As co-workers, they did the job in a highly professional manner and on time, so we will continue to work with them on the next project. Soon, namely, we are planning to open a terrace that will be decorated like the interior," Saša told us.

Several models of custom-made modern chairs from the Union Drva product range were chosen for furnishing the interior: Adela, Yoko, Bosa chairs, while tall Yoko Bar chairs were placed next to the bar. All in all, they are made of quality material - solid beech wood. The upholstery uses elegant quick clean and water-repellent plush materials for professional use. This means that they are intended for high-frequency spaces, that they are extremely durable and resistant to wear and tear, and that they have all the certificates required in the hospitality industry.

The same composition, quality, modern design and ergonomically perfect construction adorn the armchairs of the Planet model, the Flute benches and booths in the area of ​​the Osam grama cafe. The cushions on the booths are at the same time so comfortable and soft, yet firm enough, that they will have a relaxing effect on every guest, and we all know that after a long shopping trip, it is always good to rest your legs and relax your spine. From the Union Drvo standard catering program, tables made of compact panels with a multi-layer structure of paper, impregnated with resin and with a highly decorative surface layer were selected. With their clean lines, they could easily be combined with other selected pieces of furniture in the room.

Personalizing the final appearance of the product

A particularly attractive, and at the same time the largest element in the interior design that Union Drvo was in charge of, is a kind of canopy, a structure similar to a free-standing pergola, which makes you feel at times like you are drinking their new Barcaffe Flora coffee with notes of cocoa and tropical spices outside in the open air. and not on the ground floor of the shopping center.

It is composed of plywood panels made of American walnut and surmounts part of the seating area with booths. In addition to the fronts of this construction, the bar and the shelves belonging to it are also lined with massive panels and plywood . In agreement with the architect and the investor, in some parts the plywood was painted in a certain RAL color, while in other cases it was left in the original American walnut version. This is just one of the examples that shows how Union Drvo offers each of its clients the opportunity to personalize the final appearance of the selected product. In this case, it was the investor's opportunity to play with colors, in order to get a unique product that fits uncompromisingly into the space he is decorating.
