Julia, in her late fourties', runs 9 hotels with her father Werner and her younger brother Frank. 7 of them are in the Franconian town of Nuremberg, one in Bamberg and one further south. Together with her father she developed most of them since the early 2000s, two being there before from her grandfather. They decided very early for the owner / operator strategy wherever possible. Seven of them are associated with international brands as franchisor, 2 houses are run with a boutique concept. The company has over 1500 hotel rooms and 400 employees. Julia and her Munich based partner have two almost grown up children. She is member of the “Beirat” of IHA and of the Best Western Hotels Germany.
